The Woman in the Clearing
In the heart of the ancient wood,

She fades into the forest’s breast,

In the whispers of the woods,
the Log Lady sits,
cradling secrets in her arms,
her log, an oracle of the outlands.
Mysterious tunes drift through the pines,
melodies of the unseen,
echoes of the ancients,
carried by winds from forgotten realms.
Her eyes, deep wells of knowing,
gaze into the fog,
announcements cloaked in shadows,
revelations wrapped in riddles.
Chronicles of the edge,
where the forest meets the stars,
where music of the outlands hums,
a symphony of the beyond.
She speaks in fragments,
cryptic verses of the night,
the Log Lady's song,
a dance of the elusive and the profound.

to the murmurs in the leaves,
